Tells Jake Tapper that Trump should not be impeached because his cult would rally around him and give him a boost for 2024. He forgot to mention that if he's impeached and convicted he would never be eligible to run for a federal office again.

Also: He'll probably be short about 30,000 voters, who should be convicted of felony insurrection.

but convictions and thus removals sometimes are not followed by a ban
Alcee Hastings for instance
impeached, convicted and removed as a Federal judge, but not banned, and has been in Congress for almost 30 years straight now
