is the overwhelming sense that he sees everyone not in his inner circle as a chump.
When he speaks, there is the undeniable sense that the man simply does not respect the humanity and dignity of other people. He views everyone as a chump to be rolled over.
It is the opposite with Pres. Obama. When he talks, even when he isn't at his best, there is a sincerity that comes across and the clear sense that he is a respectful person.
As big an ass that he was, I don't think that George W. Bush was even in the same category as Romney.

(8,582 posts)But think George W. Bush is in the same category as Romney and then some. Though we haven't seen what Romney would actually do if in office. I suppose it could be worse than the two unneeded wars we have seen.

(40,212 posts)I'm not talking about policy or the way he governed. As much as a hated Bush, I never felt that he had the belief that he was superior to everyone. In fact, I sometimes had the feeling that Bush has a really bad inferiority complex.

(8,582 posts)his inferiority complex caused him to invade Iraq like he did. Whether for his own inferiority complex or for his father, it's still the same. He had an inferiority complex.

(57 posts)My advice, don't be in a boat with Romney when it's sinking. You'll be a goner.
