(17,865 posts)At a minimum he must explain how his relationship with his wife doesn't impact his objectivity as a judge.
I am figuring that the SC would rule that he isn't compelled to testify.
I am a little uneasy about blaming a someone for the actions of his or her spouse.
Her on the other hand definitely needs to be called (assuming the DoJ doesn't get to her first).

(1,345 posts)what I see is a tweet linking to an article which is just a collection of tweets.
It would probably be illegal for Clarence Thomas to pay for busses, hence if his wife paid, it would mean that he is paying. However, she is allowed to have her own mouth piece. She does have to be careful though.
I see no evidence that she paid for 70 buses.

I do not recall the source article. I skimmed through it quickly and was more focused on the Georgia election.

(8,203 posts)I am so grateful to ALL who have captured in pictures, this disgusting attempt to take down our democracy..
May they all have their day in court, because that is what we do..then, put in cages - put on a boat to nowhere...shower by hose, eat by trough, use a bucket to relieve themselves...the only time let out of their cages, is to collect the feces buckets..rotate the responsibility..
Let them be guided by GPS if possible..I hear the Persian Gulf is a nice place to float around..or Cape Horn - may the tides carry them to their final destination...

(43,475 posts)Urban One, Inc. (formerly Radio One) is a Silver Spring, Maryland-based American media conglomerate. Founded in 1980 by Cathy Hughes, the company primarily operates media properties targeting African Americans. It is the largest African-American-owned broadcasting company in the United States, operating 55 radio stations and majority-owning the syndicator Reach Media, as well as its digital arm Interactive One, and the cable network TV One.
As of 2014, it was the ninth-highest-earning African-American-owned business in the United States.

(37,161 posts)...to bring in bodies for a display of numbers is definitely within her wheelhouse.
It's not "Wooga Booga Soros" stuff, it's more like the "'they' arranged for buses" to 2009 Tea Party rallies without identifying who 'they" were (eventual answer: Koch-funded astroturf orgs) stuff.

(5,420 posts)It will be fun, they said.
Buses laid on, free trip to town, they said.
Overthrow the Gubbiment, the Biden Gubbiment, they said.
Storm the Capitol Building, they said.
Capture all of the Democrat ring leaders and make them cry, they said.
It's going to be fun, they said.
Bring your guns and ammo, Democrat rules don't apply to us, they said.
Once the Capitol Building falls, the rest of the Biden Gubbiment will crumble and Trump will be President forever, they said.
There will be no repercussions they said, so go home after and bask in the glory of having been a Child of the Revolution.
Something to tell your grandchildren, they said.
But . . . what is that pink slip in my letter box, and why did those black SUVs just park in front of my house?

(5,420 posts)that the Proud (Incel) boys, Q-anon followers, foreign agitators and all other groups present at the Capitol Building invasion have burnt out their highly inappropriate rage, and given up.
That there will be no repeat of this mindless violence.
But with Insane Trump issuing orders, and still too many days to go, who knows?
I'm glad no civilian opposition was present at the invasion. At least Trump can't say 'There are good people on both sides.'
Because the good people were sensible enough to stay away.

(7,284 posts)That's another expulsion required. Yes her husband was in on it, aided and abetted in overthrowing the United States Government by an act of war by domestic terrorists. Yeppers. Clarence Thomas needs to be expelled if he refuses to resign.
