i believe, failing to get georgia to flip for him and failing to get pence to do his bidding, that the goal was to interrupt the counting and cause mayhem. then depending on what happened, declare martial law, stay in power, force the count to the house so they could annoint him. basically play it by ear and grab whatever he can to hold the office he lost.
there was obvious coordination at many levels plus 30-40000 wound up dupes.
there is no innocent interpretation of events.
this was a violent coup attempt.
trump, giuliani, djtj, the rest of his family and organizers and instigators need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
not believing in the death penalty i think they all deserve to spend their remaining days in prison.
