Good news from PPP and Reuters

Both say Romney's best polling day was yesterday, and today's polling showed signs of recovery for Obama. Keep in mind PPP and Reuters have been somewhat kinder on Obama than other polls just as those Rasmussen and Gravis polls lean Romney. We need to keep an eye on other polls that happen this week, but this is welcome news nonetheless after a rough couple days:

"We haven't seen additional gains from Romney. This suggests to me that this is more of a bounce than a permanent shift," Ipsos pollster Julia Clark said.

PPP Twitter: Saturday interviews we've done for polls across the country look a lot more like our pre-debate than our Friday numbers

I can't remember if it was positive or negative but there used to be some trend.

by one ephemeral moment such as a perceived debate victory.

There are nudges here and there and tacking one way or another, but if you look at how solid the partisan bases are it is truly remarkable.

Look at the methodologies of polls, not their affiliation.

I figured Romney might get a little bounce and some money
from his base, and that that bounce would be short lived
because of Big Bird and all the lies.

True dat.
