I used to consider myself left moderate. But seeing how far(extremely) the right has gone, I'd say I'm very left now.

Over the years I've become Facebook Friends with many here, and had some RL face to face meetings!

I come every day and would sure miss it if ever you all weren't here!

And most here qualify!

Hey, I'm from Texas, so it's nice to carry on a conversation with folks who don't suddenly start spouting batshit crazy ideas at me out of the blue. The DU attracts educated, open-minded people who are up on events and happy to share their experiences on any number of topics. I learn something new every time I come here. And I've been coming here since Dumbya was just about halfway through his first term.

I find myself way ahead of anyone I know on news stories. A BIG THANK YOU to all of you posters who supply so much of the information here. I am in awe of the ability to find and report newsworthy stuff here.

I wish I had a nickle for every time I'm reading a LBN article when I hear the same story on the radio. DU's strength is the in-depth observations about the story, and potential ramifications hours before the talking heads feed us theirs; some damn keen minds are found right here on DU.

the days aren't to hot and the nights aren't to cold. And its something to do.
I'm always correct, but I'm not always right. (That goes with "I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.&quot
