Two problems with this for righties though. They conflate privilege with freedom of speech in that their speech, since they're usually white and male, is of far greater import than anyone else's. Secondly, they don't really believe in the idea of free speech anyway. They believe we should all be forced to listen to their crazed ramblings, while being forced to remain silent. Simply put, they're fascists hiding behind a Bill of Rights they actually despise.

The right's warped idea of so-called "free speech" is nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge".

The first amendment does NOT apply to the Internet because cyberspace it is a global entity that cannot be regulated by any one nation's laws and can easily be circumvented in one form or another by an individual. This is especially true for the dark web.
