Of all Trump's adult children, I think Don Jr. took the brunt of his father's cruelty, maybe because he was the eldest and also Trump's namesake. I also think Trump took his self-loathing out on his son. It is almost like the way Fred Trump treated his oldest son and namesake, probably driving him to the alcoholism that contributed to his early death. I don't see Junior living to be an old man if he doesn't get help, but that appears to be pretty unlikely.
