As it was still going on he started spinning tales about seeing antifa and the particular clothing/gear they were wearing which was how he knew it was them, etc.

He also claimed the woman who was shot had been summarily executed by police (she wasn't). Of course he also said, before that, that she was shot in the leg (she wasn't). But attention to detail, memory persistence, and internal consistency are not his viewers' strong suits I guess.

And before the violence he had repeatedly told his viewers that Trump had personally asked him to lead the march. Oops! That lie will be causing a headache if/when the FBI comes knocking.

To be clear, AFAIK, Alex Jones never even got to the Capitol. He wasn't actually leading the march, and before he even got there it had turned violent so he stayed away and broadcast as if he had inside knowledge of what was going on. His normal bullshit.
