As it stands now the Democratic registration advantage in Florida is a little over 489,000

Back in 2000 when the election was a "tie" the Democrats registration advantage was 370,000

In 2000 many voters in the northern part of the state were registered as Democrats but voted for Republicans.

This probably still exists today but to a much lesser extent making the registration numbers more reflective of true voter intention.

If they have the data on who switched to Democratic registration after the republican primary, that may help determine the number of "moles."
