The election...a nice thing to hear.

I was out kayak camping with an old friend this weekend. He pays attention to politics but he is very neutral in who he has voted for. He is actually just as likely to vote Republican as Democratic and prides himself on that.
Anyway, we were sitting around the campfire and he brings up politics. He said he was disgusted by what he hears and has decided this election to vote democratic right down the ticket.
I was surprised and elated.
I really believe that more people were turned off by Romney after the debate than the media is letting on.

moderate the local repug happens to be (I'm in CT). What matters is they will not be allowed to be that way if they get to DC and we are doomed if the republican party gets control.

They did what they could to help create one. Maybe they were only partly successful!
