Using the American Flag for insurrection AGAINST America...

Last edited Mon Jan 11, 2021, 08:25 AM - Edit history (1)

The thought just occurred to me when seeing more video of the Trump mob at the Capitol on January 6th, the US Flag being used as a weapon, a means of destruction.

Then I am reminded of the criticism of Colin Kapaernick for disrespecting the Flag by taking a knee in protest of police actions towards African-Americans by one Donald Trump. Was he not disgusted seeing our flag being disrespected in such a way?

they screamed desecration to the flag... yet them wearing it for underware halter tops, capes and headbands for decades was about as disgusting as it gets.

The violent seditionists used the flag to beat up the police. Trump's lawless mob used the flag to breakout windows.

How ironic that those idiots who are always gushing over the American flag see nothing wrong in using it as a handy weapon in the very building of the government it symbolizes. How mixed up is that?
