So if they had killed everyone in congress then what does the Constitution say

as to how a President can be removed and who takes over control of the Gov at that point? The mob thinks everyone in there drinks kids blood so I don't doubt it could have happened.

Do the Senate and Congress meet at the same time or was it just the Senate that was in session?

Both chambers were in session with their respective members, debating the legitimacy of the repeatedly contested and validated votes. Both chambers were threatened by the Trumpian terrorists, but the Senate had a much closer call.

The Constitution has no provision for the mass slaughter of Congress. However Biden has already been elected president for a month now and he would've been able to take over running the government on the 20th.

Sigh.

Once sign of a dysfunctional family is the focus is always on the principal user/abuser.

If the entire Congress - both the House and the Senate (both bodies were in session during the incursion) - were wiped out, in most cases governors appoint new senators for their states, while special elections are called to replace House members. Obviously this couldn't be done immediately, so no congressional business could be done until people are replaced. There are probably some rules about what constitutes a quorum in both houses.

They were all together at first, but split for their separate debates/deliberations when a state's electors were objected to, then back together, rinse and repeat.

All I can find is some work done by a committee in 2009 on "the continuity of congress in case of catastrophe" but can find nothing at first perusal on any bill getting to the floor.

Obviously the Senate is easily replaced by gubernatorial appointments. House membership may have to wait to special elections.

According to the FBI, in this Huff Po article...

... terrorists only want to kill half of Congress. The Democratic half. Well, and maybe a few Republicans who haven't backed up Trump enough.

So, yay, we're the ones being bipartisan.
