I went for a short ride before, around Lake Hopatcong NJ to see the leaves turning

Morris County NJ is a RED AS RED CAN BE County in NJ.

Three Romney/Ryan signs, and I passed a couple of thousand homes.

There were too many Obama signs to count.

Fuck the media, Money Boo Boo is done, stick a fork in him.

I wonder how the rich snotbags in Bedminster and Peapack-Gladstone are feeling about rMoney. That part of Somerset County has long been a haven for the feelthy stinkin' rich.

I have a feeling the people who supported Bush and Gramps won't support him

Lived a few years in a town in Union County, and my Grandfather lived in Essex county (Maplewood). Those Republicans, like my father, were a different breed. Of course this was the 50's and 60's. Has it changed that much?

Beautiful photo, by the way. I loved the Northern New Jersey woods.

and Obama signs are also a bit fewer and farther between this year, probably because people are so strapped for money around here.

I also haven't seen any Heartless Heather Wilson signs and few TV ads, while Martin Heinrich ads are fairly common. He's a good guy and she's a neocon shitbag so I hope we'll be sending him to the Senate.

Good observation on the signs, that bodes well for Obama. Pro-republican people can't wait to put out yard signs, they have to be heard, the paucity of Romney signs says that most of the voters are going for Obama, even most of those with no yard signs.

Morris County has many well maintained hiking trials. Some are in the county parks, but most towns have their own. Patriots' Path contains segments from the county and various towns. Looking for a list of all the trails, I found this link - http://www.taking-a-hike.com/morris-county-nj-trails/ - which describes and has pictures from each of the hikes he/she did.

One site said that there are 60 miles of shoreline around Lake Hopatcong (though that seems high) and that there are trails in Hopatgon State Park.
