He was great, esp. on the fact that her talking points are just a rehash of RNC talking points. CTyankee Oct 2012 #4

One benefit of President Obama not taking it to Romney's lies on Wednesday is that democrats will be on their toes during Senatorial and House debates now, as Murphy attests. McMahon supporting the Blunt amendment won't sit well in her state, she is not running in the rural midwest or south.

Her reference to "best and the brightest" was just laughable. She had all the charm of a rattlesnake!

I loved that he promptly rebutted the old, tired "he cut $700 billion out of Medicare."

I think your take on this is right. Murphy is not well known in the state and she is deluging us with her ads.

It's great that Murphy brought her down without looking like a bullying man trying to badger a woman.

He's gonna hang that RW Republican talking point issue around her neck! And her "sunsetting" Social Security just spoke for itself and he quoted her word for word.

I loved watching her get angrier and angrier...she looked downright mean!

Courant leans to the right, IIRC. FB posts from Chris' campaign page seem to indicate supporters were very pleased with his performance.

Went to see a movie with my girls (Frankenweenie, terrific and fun).

Chris was my Rep and is such a good guy. I have met Linda McMahon as well at a restaurant. She was not unpleasant but she has been totally disgusting in this race. Her attacks have no substance to them and are not even on the issues.
