I like him and know how much he loved and respected Alex. A good fit.

(1,184 posts)No one can replace Alex Trebek, but Ken is doing as well as one could. Glad that, for the time being, the show is in the hands of someone who really loves the game (and loves knowledge). Ken's higher voice lacks the command that I'd prefer, but maybe I just feel that way because I'm so used to hearing Alex

(5,334 posts)Not only is it unnecessary, but it doesn't really make sense. Very rarely would anybody respond with the board clue if somebody asked the question you just used.
For example:
IT'S THE COLOR OTHER THAN BLUE ON ARGENTINA'S FLAG.
"What it white?"
Honestly, who would EVER answer "it's the color other than blue on Argentina's flag" to the question "what is white?"
The game would lose nothing, in my opinion, if it just dropped that nonsense. And I watch Jeopardy quite often.
