Eugene Goodman is a true hero and a very brave man. Not to mention remarkably composed and quick-witted considering the situation. The fact that they have to worry about his name getting out because of concerns for his safety show just how truly f****d up this country is.

One died fighting off the terrorists and one was being tortured by them, but refused to give in to them. So, there was a lot of heroism that day.

There were no doubt some concealed weapons among the terrorists, but I doubt they could have won in a shoot out with the Capitol police.

He averted a bloodbath. And he did it by leading racists away from the chamber, literally putting his own life on the line.

You can’t find anyone more brave than that.

It was his face, his actions, his dedication. That! Is what we are supposed to be.

The picture makes me tear up and I am not going to engage in some lame "it's dusty in here" male bullshit.

A young African American man risking his life for American Democracy in the face of absolute hate...

I cannot imagine a better symbol for what we should be. Words cannot express how impressed and amazing he is.

Pulled under his nose is exactly the same as no mask. I can only hope he doesn't get Covid.

Everyone: WEAR THE MASK AND WEAR IT CORRECTLY.

that his mask slipped down while he was fighting an insurgent mob trying to assassinate most of the upper levels of the federal government.
