The impotence and weakness of Mike Pence in one short sentence

I was reading this article on CNN

And then read this

"The turn of events has left Pence shaken and caused him to exclaim in anger to a fellow Republican: "After all the things I've done for (Trump)!""

That may be the nadir of pathetic - and great transparency into so-called devoutly spiritual Pence's enabling of four years of the behaviors of a destructive, soulless monster.

I like to call him a mannequin, but at least a mannequin has some use as it models clothes in a department store window. Pence has no use whatsoever.

It probably didn't occur to him that Trump would lie right to his face.

I will never forget when he and the Republicans in the Indiana state legislature tried to write LGBTQA discrimination into law how incredulous he was that there was instant blowback. He just stood there, dumbfounded, repeating, "but it's about religious freedom." Other Republicans were angry and defiant, Pence was just confused. He couldn't understand how anyone could object to it.
