Trump & Pence "agreed those who stormed the Capitol do not represent the America First movement"

Bullshit.

Politico article published tonight with some info on Trump's meeting with Pence this afternoon:

https://www.politico.com/news/2021/01/11/isolated-self-absorbed-donald-trump-impeachment-defense-457983

The relationship between Trump and Pence has also been strained since last Wednesday when the vice president refused to object to Biden’s win while presiding over a joint session of Congress to certify the election results. The president had not phoned Pence in the days since then — a snubbing that had left administration officials furious at Trump. But the two met Monday evening in the Oval Office.

“The two had a good conversation, discussing the week ahead and reflecting on the last four years of the administration’s work and accomplishments,” a senior administration official said. “They also agreed that those who stormed the Capitol do not represent the America First movement.”

The first America First movement belonged to anti-Semites and Nazi Sympathizers who wanted to keep America out of WWII. Later Pat Buchanan picked it up as an anti-immigration slogan in the late 80's. It has always been associated with the darker inclinations of White Americans, which has been baked into the fabric of the United States and must be eliminated.

what a bunch of B'S. trump gave a speech to encourage them to do exactly what they did just before it happened. He will never take responsibility for what he did nor will his equally despicable offspring.

Isn't that what Hitler-buddy Lindbergh called his movement? It grinds me everytime someone says that term, and anyway, Trump doesn't put America first. He puts Trump first, and if Pence has somehow forgiven him for sending an armed mob to the Capitol some of whom WERE THERE TO ASSASSINATE PENCE IN FRONT OF HIS OWN WIFE, well, that's on Pence. The rest of us aren't so forgiving.

The guy who just almost got lynched by a mob, and the guy who sent the mob to lynch him, just spent some quiet time reminiscing about their accomplishments?

Sounds peachy.
