Ought to issue a warning (as in consequences) to those who would attack Federal and State Capitols in the coming days?

Do you wonder, as I do, why there is only a warning for all of these places to be ready for it?

Why not tell the insurgents what they face in committing similar acts to Wednesday, January 6, 2021? It seems imperative to be out in front of this since there has been VERY LITTLE reparations so far.

1. I think when they show up and see the sheer

numbers of police, National Guard etc in full riot gear they’ll get the picture.

2. I absolutely think they should issue a warning

that states lethal force will be used for anyone breaching a security line with no credentials. I am highly skeptical that Traitor45 supporters haven’t infiltrated FBI, Secret Service and National Guard, however. I am really nervous about it.

3. I expect search warrants and arrests to be the only "warning" insurgents get from FBI

I think it's becoming clear that a lot more people were involved in the insurrection than the actual participants, and I think the FBI is on it. The plans for Jan. 17 and onward make it urgent. I expect arrests and searches of militia types not directly related to Jan. 6 ("American Guy Fawkes Day"?) before Jan. 17.

4. They have a right to gather peacefully.

They know that an attack on the United States Government carries heavy consequences.

They make the choice of whether to commit insurrection or abide by the Rule of Law that defines our Democracy.

If they believe they're right then no reasoning will stop them from attacking.

The warnings to be ready are to assure any potential attack against the government of the United States will be met in sufficient measure to assure Democracy stands solid and Rule of Law prevails.

7. After only 1 person showed up to the protest in San Francisco, I am wondering if the protests

are going to be duds? This week was pretty brutal for them and many may not want to show their faces now. I could be completely wrong though. Will be interesting to see what unfolds.
