What you are seeing are ads based on the Google Adwords marketing system. It is keyword driven, meaning that when sites that display Google ads use the keywords that the advertiser pre-selects, those ads show up. The advertiser then has to pay for every click on their ad.

DU gets paid based on clicks, and Google can detect "click fraud".

19. Ad Block (browser neutral) only blocks sources, not content. They use cookies & IP reverse location.

If you even HIT Facebook, your computer is loaded with goodies for the advertisers. The Internet Providers are part of this exploitation because they get cash for hits too. The concept of privacy on the net is gone. Either ignore them, or knock out the primary source of the ad. When you use AdBlock, just kill everything after the ".com" in the URL and block that. It works, but you have to keep at it. They rotate them constantly, which is why you'll see "http://mugshot.nudewomen.fart3432.com/... whatever" sort of links. They can always change the 3432 to 3433. It takes work.
