They identify themselves with more than red hats

In the supermarket yesterday, I saw a middle aged guy wearing a tee shirt with the name of a place and that it was an indoor shooting range. And under that were two crossed military style rifles. In addition, his mask was below his nose on top, and barely below his lip on the bottom. (You can't go into any store in Palm Beach County without a mask.) It was obvious that he resented wearing it.

Now I can't say for sure he was a Trumpster, or if he was just plain weird. But my money is on him being a Trumpster.

They seem to have no problem identifying themselves with hats, tee shirts, flags flying from their cars, etc., but none of us would put a Biden-Harris bumper sticker on our cars, or anything else that publicly identified our political leanings.

When we finally get the turd out of the White House, both our government and our society are going to need a thorough cleansing to drive the roaches back into their dark places. They've always been around, but they were too afraid to come out into the open. Time to make them afraid again.

Which is my entire wardrobe. Fuck ‘em. I wear my aloha shirt with a Black Lives Matter button so there’s no confusion

A dhoti is a trend setter for monks and nuns, not magas and nuts.

I'm a shellback five times over and earned all my aloha shirts. I've even taken to wearing with a cap with a US flag occasionally in an effort to take it back from the Goobers.

I wear my No. 46 Biden hat most time I’m out shopping. Been doing so for several months. Never had a problem and the only comments are positive. Got a few hairy eyeballs but no one is going to challenge me.

Of course I’m 6’ tall with the hat and weight 225 and normally wear my boots this time of year.

9. Atually, in Minneapolis, ATM I am slightly afraid. My neighbor got a "drive by" shooting....
Tue Jan 12, 2021, 10:20 AM

It was ONLY a BB gun, but the things they yelled made it clear it was about her BIDEN/HARRIS sign and the shots came within inches of her head.

I have large windows facing the street and family as young as 7 years old.

I will step up to anyone myself, but seeing my family killed is just horrifying.

My son wanted to get a shotgun to put under his bed. I was ALMOST going to cave when he addressed my concern about the kids getting into it and hurting or killing themselves. The in-laws have a gun safe and that works. Grandkids stay out of it.

THEN HE WENT ON to say he was going to get involved in a local MILITIA and PROTECT the neighborhood.

I NEARLY LOST MY MIND.

"WHAT are you going to do when they tell you to kill ME because I support Biden?"

"NO. NO WAY. NO."

He doesn't pay rent. Has had his family living here FREE for 8+ years and thinks HIS 2nd Amendment Rights mean he can overrule me in my own home. NO.

YES he "could" protect us by having a gun in the house. BUT if he gets involved with the people wanting to kill us.... He is already convinced the election was stolen and BIDEN will bring "Socialism"

I really feel torn to bits in all this.

He's moving to Wisconsin to some farm of a friend of his. They will be on 5 acres within another 100 acres.

He'll probably be marching with his gun on some capitol during inauguration. I guess this is how people felt in the Civil War being on opposite sides.

17. IF it was HIM yes. But my Grandkids on the street because their Dad....

HE has chosen employment in another state which comes with low cost rental and ability to build his own additions to the space.

THAT portion is empowering, but I fear he will be dragged into this crazy even more and my Grandkids too.

Nothing I can do about that.

My 7 year old Grandson is already spouting hate shit. "I don't know WHY people are protesting at the Holiday" (where cops gunned down a black man who fired at them first after they surrounded his car with 4 squad cars.) "He shot first and was doing drugs." (I don't know about the drug part.)

I told him, "Well, everyone has a family and the cops did shoot back a lot, over 12 times. And there were many people there that could have been hurt by a stray bullet and the gas pumps could have blown up. AND even bad people have families that love them. SO people are protesting for many reasons."

He seemed thoughtful, but with only his parent's rhetoric and FAUX news he will be someone else in a few years.

I got him away from gangs.

He started working, got a family. Was doing OK.

Up in the Iron Range they started having problems. People would fire someone because they refused to scrape maggots off fish and cook it anyway. At least they THREATEND my son with that and he said, "Um OHSA might shut this place down if you do that."

I was SO proud of him.

Then FAUX News and Newsmax turned him into one of THOSE crazy people.

Most of my clients are repukes, so if I want to continue keeping a roof over my head, I can't advertise that I am a Democrat. It sucks, but I honestly don't mind TAKING their money.
Some days I feel like a hypocrite, but to make a living during a pandemic, one must make decisions that are not always the most palpable.

4. They rely on our decency
Tue Jan 12, 2021, 10:06 AM
Jan 2021

It's too bad they don't have any.

I don't put bumper stickers on my car, but if I did, I know I couldn't put any kind of political bumper stickers on it because my car would surely get keyed, or worse. They freely flaunt that they're assholes because they count on us being decent people who don't go around vandalizing the property of others who don't agree with our views.

My neighbor has a Biden-Harris sign in her yard. With the escalation of MAGAt insanity, it kind of worries me that she's possibly putting a target on her house.

MAGAts whine about their freedoms being taken away, but I guess freedom of expression is just for them.
