5. What the Hell is This Business About "Not Being Listened to"?

I guess it's of a piece with the claims about the abuse and disrespect the "president" is supposed to have suffered at the hands of the same media we are pretty disgusted with for having given him gazillions of dollars in free publicity and bully pulpit time, slavishly reporting every vain twitch and utterance, no matter how lacking in actual meaningful content, up until some brief flickers of journalistic balance last year.

When your primary schtick is self-pity, victimhood, and whining, at least my personal willingness to hang on your every word, especially when cloaked in claims of conspiracies and obvious unwillingness to reciprocate, instead shouting about "fake news," gets exhausted increasingly quickly.
