Anyone here grow up with Hell's Angels/Outlaws in your community?

These Trump insurrectionists remind me of them. They were essential a criminal organization. I can remember one of them was on trial for murder and they came to my small town en mass trying to intimidate the populous. Like Trumpsters, they are essentially losers.

That was years ago. Not sure what they’ve branches out into over the years. Anytime I see them they remind me of Catholic School kids I used to see. All of them wearing the same clothes. Hair done the same. Pretty pathetic.

In Contra Costa, a friend of mine was friends of the daughter of a chapter member. I went with my friend to a party and to my horror discovered it was a hells angels party. I was so scared. One guy asked me if I had an old man I said yes and he left me alone but I stayed glued to my friend and after an hour we left. Then in the 80’s I went to party and as the evening was winding down all these hells angels showed up. They were dirty, smelled and very drunk. We didn’t hang out there and left very quickly. The party host was horrified that they showed up uninvited. But these guys were the drug dealers and worked on cars and motorcycles as a living. But my most infamous encounter was at a flea market and this hells angels guy came up to me and said my name I didn’t recognize him because he was bearded, unkempt and smelly. it turned out we dated briefly in high school and my Dad made me stop seeing him when he found out he lived in the SF projects where the SF hells Angels chapter lived. The guy asked me if I wanted to see him again and I told him I had another boyfriend at moment. He gave me his number and said to call him when I was free again!!!!!!

Through a roommate, I actually met quite a few of them, including including the President of the San Jose chapter. Lots of gun dealing, too. Some of them blended into normal society and had jobs. Tattoos were not real prevalent then, and many of them had none or ones that were easily hidden by clothing

Lots of white-supremacist type motorcycle groups, but no hell's angels. Sturgis reeks of them

we moved into a rental house on a block that had been filled with Hell’s Angels a couple of years before. There were still bullet holes in the front of "our" house that penetrated into the front bedroom. The member sleeping there at the time of the shooting was hit and ended as a paraplegic. He came by a little after we moved in and told us the story. He was still a member, greasy and dirty. We just smiled (very politely), nodded our heads and waved him on his way.

In late ‘69 I was going to a concert with my then boyfriend and another friend. We stopped at a gas station so Pat could call his girlfriend and tell her we were coming to pick her up. All of a sudden a guy ran out of the station with a tire iron and started beating on the phone booth (hey, remember those things?), cracking glass. (We later speculated that he didn’t see the car because of the angles.) We saw more guys coming out of the station and we yelled for Pat to run. Rick started driving the car down the street with Pat running his a$$ off behind, me hanging out the door trying to pull him in and a group of really scary looking guys chasing us down that street! We got away, stopped and called the cops and went on to the concert. We later learned that a local motorcycle gang named the Hessians was robbing the place as we pulled in and thought Pat knew and was calling the cops on them! Luckily the poor guy manning the station wasn’t hurt badly.

Nice people...not.

Gangs like the Hell's Angels and Outlaws are not something to be celebrated, they're a crime syndicate, they sell drugs and extort people for money, there is no sense of justice in their ranks, it's just take what you want if you're stronger.

I also feel the Mafia has been glorified too much, these people are parasites, they take and take from everyone they encounter.

I couldn't say that's better than Hells Angels/Outlaws.

They were pretty horrible.
