Says he is happy the House is moving forward with impeachment. Believes its a way to rid the GOP of tRump, permanently.
My guess: he is getting ready to pressure Pence to invoke the 25th, ie: the Nixon gambit (resign or Rs will vote to impeach.).

(45,012 posts)Trump had a brief moment to walk this back but his awful instinct compelled him to double down. After shooting himself in both feet, he's now aiming for his own ass.

Let's see him lose all perks and benefits like Secret Service protection, and the annual travel/office budgets. Give Donnie a used Suburban and let his drive home by himself on Jan 20th.

(21,850 posts)I don't see how this pressures Pence. I think Pence is scared shitless of T's mobs and is not going to pursue the 25th A.

After the 20th, Trump loses his daily TV outlet. His bull pulpit is gone.
The state of New York will be waiting for him that will tie him up in court for years if he is not in prison first. No diapers, no golf, no phone, no gormet meals of McDonald's and KFC, no choice of what to wear, no 24 hour TV.
