(7,715 posts)He'll plead executive privilege etc. But the thing is that he won't have the Department of Justice to do his bidding this time, and he will be liable for criminal perjury for lying and criminal contempt if he doesn't show up or refuses to answer questions baselessly.

I don't expect to see Trump in prison. I do expect that the US will investigate the hell out of this monster to find out everything he has done.

They ought to be able to figure out how bring him in for questioning at this point
