Any hope that republicans have learned their lesson is not there at least in congress.

(14,856 posts)If I ever need a lawyer, I think I'd narrow it down to Democrats.
They were repeatedly reciting legal precedence while crushing the various specious arguments from the Republican representatives, and did it quickly from "muscle memory". Far-better trained in law overall, from what I observed.
