(6,255 posts)Get close enough that the gunhumpers can see the armaments, but not close enough to be hit by an AR-15.

(3,557 posts)Theyll never get deployed or see on a situation where there might be small arms fire.
As a Platoon Leader in Iraq in 2004, I was given priority call for a few missions I was on. Every time I called for Apache support I was denied because we were being shot at and they were too scared.
Medevac helicopters would always come, no matter the situation or the risks they faced. Apaches were worthless.

(65,168 posts)I trust your experience, but why wouldn't the military retire a useless combat machine?
If it's not good in combat, it's not much of a weapon.

(71 posts)I cannot imagine that they will get too close to the buildings - at least the important ones. Of course they could do a lot of other damage.
Scary thoughts.

(20,730 posts)I would imagine the individuals who scale it would be arrested, and if they manage a breach, the snipers will go to work. This time arrests will be instantaneous.

Also something about 4chan but I still don't understand what that is.

(21,151 posts)It grew to a meme following anything ending in 2. So naturally, because the right co-opts everything they can to ruin it forever, they decided to go for Civil War 2: Electric Boogaloo.
It's a pretty stupid name, I agree. The background story just adds such another layer of WTF.

We resumed touch last year and they moved to a village in Belize, living off SS. I was so envious they avoided trump.
Anyway, thanks for the happy mental picture from the olden days of Oregon
