They use words that carry emotional meaning to ignorant people, but I seriously doubt that they have the slightest idea what Marxism is about.

Just very simply (because is is very dense and complicated theory) Marxism is a political and economic theory where a society has no classes. Every person within the society works for a common good, and class struggle is theoretically gone. It is based on materialism, which puts emphasis on the physical world of the senses, observation, testing, etc.. (scientific process) rather than on spiritualism, and believes that relationships are dynamic and constantly changing and challenged (dialectical theory) and that power shifts within relationships continuously.

You can argue that it is utopian, naïve, etc... but they (Republicans/Conservatives) don't know, and frankly don't care about the facts of what they say. They use words only as emotional weapons.

People overran the Capitol because they have been lied to for 40 years by right wingers who blame everything but the corruption and horrible tendencies of unrestrained and corrupted Capitalism for their lot in life. They say, "people are angry", Yeah you assholes! They are angry because YOU have stoked their anger by lying to them about a "stolen election". You tell them that Chinese people stole their jobs, when those jobs were FREELY given to the Chinese by rich people who wanted to pay lower wages and taxes than they were in America. Immigrants come to the US because we fuck around in their country, propping up dictators, making gangs rich through the drug trade (of which we are the HIGHEST consumers in the world) and we lure them to the US with actual offers of work. Then we blame them for all our economic problems because it is easier to blame someone who doesn't look like you or speak your language, than it is to blame some idolized rich man who needs a new private jet or a bigger yacht. Cause some day that is going to be me on that yacht.
