It’s not clear whether National Guardsmen are preparing to respond themselves to potential IEDs, and the briefings about that threat have left some very uneasy, the people familiar with the matter said.

In addition to the IED threat, the Guardsmen are being briefed that protesters could be heavily armed. A “significant majority” of National Guardsmen are now carrying M-4 rifles, one of the Guardsmen said, and many have M-9 guns, following authorization from DoD.

Those dogs are likely in the Capitol every day.
Now, instead of a having a few of whatever number they have patrolling each day, they'll likely 50:50 it and half the dogs all the time.
Since 9/11, I've been to the Capitol 4 times.
I saw more than one dog, all 4 times!
