Can Senate Republicans follow suit to impeach?

(4,846 posts)We only got 10 out of 200+ republicans in the house. I doubt we can get 17 (?) in the senate.

Voting NOT to convict will brand Senate Republicans COWARDS and SEDITIONISTS.
That is how they will be remembered. Their legacies, tarnished forever.

(7,526 posts)For example, roughly 2/3 of the Republican caucus voted to sustain the challenge to Pennsylvania's electoral votes, whereas there were only 6 senators that did so.
I've been reading that there are maybe 10-12 Republican votes for conviction in the Senate. Better support than the House, but still short of what is needed, as you pointed out.
