Since one of my biggest fears since this debacle is that the around-the-clock efforts of thousands of FBI and other LEO and USAGs to find, investigate and prosecute these people would be for naught, I'm feeling a bit better about the potential for justice.

A pardon does nothing to distance himself from that goal.

(19,114 posts)Also in the speech he called fir all of the offenders to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
There was a very really belief among a significant portion of those in the terror attack that Trump would be issuing pardons for everyone. It was discussed during the planning of the attack. Brings joy to be knowing their hearts must have sank during they part of the speech.

(19,114 posts)And not just rumors, there was clear direction that theyd all be pardoned. Things were said like, if youre with Trump you cant be prosecuted and if we win there will be no prosecution.
I read a lot about this in prior weeks, they clearly thought Trump had complete control of law enforcement and that law enforcement would joint them rather than fight them and arrest them. They were delusional but also misled badly on this.

(3,356 posts)Im guessing their individual names need to appear on separate pardons. Hundreds have already been arrested and Trumps team is not about go through that list.
