On CNN now: Rep. Rodney Davis proving again that republicans are full of shit.

Twisting himself into a pretzel defending his no vote on impeachment. Keeps bringing up bad democrats and how he was at the baseball field shooting and Trump has suffered because he lost the election. He is arguing about "process."

Brianna Keilar: "I don't understand your logic. Republicans are kowtowing to terrorists by saying impeachment could cause further violence."

She looks like she would like to call this guy an asshole.

4. The younger generation of GOP is woefully dumb.

Not that I am a fan at all of the modern GOP, but back in the 70's and 80's you had people like Jack Kemp and Bob Dole, who would work with Tip O'Neill and Democrats to get things done. People who knew some history and had some sense that the history and future of the country were more important than any one person, or an election. Guys like Kemp and Dole would be run out of the party now as RINOs.

These guys like Davis, just seem and sound dumb. They don't know their history so all they have is their canned talking points and techniques, like if they were rolled off of an assembly line.

Compare that with the newer slate of Democratic politicians like Ayana Pressley, Katie Porter, AOC, Ossoff, etc... and it is a different universe.
