A leaked intelligence memo suggests Trump's lies could incite more violence

I've obtained a new intelligence memo warning that the lie that the election was fraudulent threatens to incite more extremist violence in future.

Trump still won't disown this lie, and many Republicans still won't unambiguously condemn it.

My latest:

Trump's own intelligence services believe the lie of a stolen election could inspire future violence.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2021/01/14/intelligence-bulletin-trump-domestic-violence-extremists/

Not long after President Trump earned the crowning distinction of becoming the first U.S. president to get impeached twice, he released a video in which he went further than ever in calling for an end to post-election violence. But here’s what Trump did not say:

First, that Joe Biden is the legitimate winner of the 2020 election. Second, that Trump’s own big lie to the contrary was the singular cause of the deadly mob assault on the Capitol — and is perhaps the fundamental reason we face the threat of more right-wing insurgent violence to come.

A new federal intelligence bulletin that I’ve obtained underscores the stakes of this omission: It flatly warns that the lie that the 2020 election was fraudulent could be a key inspiration of domestic extremist violence going forward.

The Jan. 13 memo doesn’t cite Trump or his role in spreading this lie, but, of course, Trump has relentlessly promulgated it for months.

Here’s the key conclusion of the memo, a joint product of numerous agencies, including Homeland Security and the Justice Department. The acronym DVE refers to “Domestic Violence Extremists”:

Amplified perceptions of fraud surrounding the outcome of the General Election and the change in control of the Presidency and Senate — when combined with long-standing DVE drivers such as perceived government or law enforcement overreach, and the anticipation of legislation perceived by some DVEs to oppose or threaten their beliefs — very likely will lead to an increase in DVE violence.

Not just a casual mention of it here & there. Is MSM's reluctance to promote the falsehoods associated with
the BIG LIE because they're hoping for more violence & bloodshed so they get more "breaking news" for ratings?
Faux news needs to be leading the charge against the BIG LIE, but they never will because it'll be admitting
to their audience they're just really a propaganda network which enjoys spreading lies even if people get killed.

edited to add: Newspapers could have front page headlines about the BIG LIE and explain to their readers
who spread the lie and who still is, why 60+ cases thrown out of courts, dead people voted republican, etc
