21,000 troops in the capitol and I am still nervous.

As I am hearing about the people being arrested for what happened Wed I am truly numb with fear. These aren't just the Crazy Uncle in Grandma's basement or the Crazy brother loving off the grid. These are people who are teachers and lawyers and law enforcement.

With all this security is there still a chance some security detail to be willing to try something. for the first time I am actually afraid of Republican Senators and Representatives. 2 of them bragging that they are carrying guns.

Please tell me it is my paranoid mind or I am still shocked by Wednesday and it is now safe.

there will be no show of force by the Patriots. They have had a week to understand how their actions now make them seditionists. Maybe a few dozen with a death wish, but no Patriots to lead another Insurrection.

State buildings however, those are soft targets and far more concerning.

Right now, Trump is commander in chief of the US military. It is not just non-government fascists that are of concern to me.

Not so this time. The feds have their feelers out and are actively pursuing leads. If anything major is planned, they'll get wind of it, and this time they will act.

Life is a series of calculated risks. Everything that you decide to do has a margin of risk. No outcome is ever 100 percent certain, therefore any attempt at anything has a chance.

sorry I don't have a pic handy.)

(I live in MD, 60 miles south of DC, and my son in law is a MD deputy sheriff who, fortunately hasn't been called up, but might be. He thinks it's adequately covered.)

I do wish it would be held indoors, as it was 36 years ago when it was too cold for Reagan. (My daughter was born the next day, after I'd walked across the Mall between doc office and our apartment!)

the troops. What they want is to incite troops to shoot some of them. They want a Kent State. They need martyrs to change the image of their movement and gain general support.

The Capitol's quite well-protected, I think.

I'm worried the chuds are going to try softer targets - state capitols, for example. I hope governors and state-level law enforcement agencies are loaded for bear.

Thanks, Trump!

I'd rather have a heavy police presence for a while than give in to the Trump mob.
