What would it take to increase the number reconciliation bills

To more than one bill a year? Is that a majority vote to change senate rules or something else? Two or three bills a year could allow for a lot.

I think reconciliation has to be spending or tax related, but ACA was passed under reconciliation. How much can he added to a bill under the rules?

Back in November Manchin said he wouldn’t be the 50th vote. Maybe events have changed his mind or he could be persuaded. Maybe we could flip another voted.

Increasing the number of bills under reconciliation might work if we can’t fix the filibuster. It might be easier to convince others because there would still be a limit.

One way or the other we have to be able to do more than one bill a year.

Is there only one vote on senate rules a term (2 years)? The negotiations among democratic senators and those caucusing with us have to give us results.
