But, Azar, who will remain on the job until President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20, voiced concern that last week’s mob siege of the Capitol building and Trump’s unfounded claims of widespread voter fraud “threaten to tarnish these and other historic legacies of this administration.”

“The attacks on the Capitol were an assault on our democracy and on the tradition of peaceful transitions of power,” Azar wrote in his formal resignation letter.

Who knew?!?!?! I give credit for their moving the vaccine through development and certification quickly. But you have the military on call and the Defense Production Act available and in 10 months of thinking on it you can't anticipate the need to distribute it efficiently and in an even planned manner that allows efficient application at the local level? Really??? REALLY!?!?!?!?! And you say you want to get the economy moving again? Wow! Colossal cluster f**k! I really think the families that lost loved ones and those who got Covid, survived but have long term impacts should form a class action lawsuit against these ignorant, bumbling assholes.
