(74 posts)Even though it is disquieting. BTW, I'm pretty sure he's referring to infectious disease expert journalist Laurie Garrett, as she's made the rounds on the Rachel Maddow Show and PBS's NewsHour with Judy Woodruff amongst others in case any wondered who Laurie is.

Had a hunch knowing the operations of Distribution, and specifically specialized Cold Storage and Handling of Bio materials, this whole program smelled to high hell and back.
Just more of Diaper Don's Bullshit Lies.

The two vaccines approved for use in the United States each require a booster shot after either three or four weeks, depending on the vaccine. While 79,552 people in Florida have received both shots, the number of people who failed to obtain the second shot has nearly quadrupled over the past four days, according to figures released Friday by the Florida Department of Health.
However, the article went on to say it was not a problem of vaccine availability since Florida has been issued around 2-million doses. Sounds like poor coordination and planning to me.
The frightening part is that those 40K people receiving early doses are the one needing immunity the most.

Pfizer has confirmed that Canada's deliveries will be impacted for the next four weeks. We will see an average reduction over this timeframe of 50 per cent of expected deliveries. There will minimal impact next week The most profound impact will be in the week of January 25, said Maj.-Gen. Dany Fortin, who is leading Canadas logistical rollout.

Six nations called the situation "unacceptable" and warned it "decreases the credibility of the vaccination process".
Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia urged the EU to apply pressure on Pfizer-BioNTech.
Pfizer said the reduced deliveries were a temporary issue.
In a statement on Friday, the drugmaker said shipments were being affected by changes to its manufacturing processes designed to boost production.
"Although this will temporarily impact shipments in late January to early February, it will provide a significant increase in doses available for patients in late February and March," Pfizer said.

There is no talk of the US plants being slowed down.
It would be helpful to give your sources, which will explain things a lot better than your own one sentence summaries.
