He is reduced to that of a mortal, ordinary citizen, albeit one who has committed many crimes and he will come to realize when hes lying in his smelly bedclothes, trying to fall asleep, that the worst mistake of his life was to win the presidency. Yes, it will poke through his narcissistic defenses and cause the somatic aspect of his being to react in a very untoward fashion. He is now the official lightning rod for every prosecutor who has higher aspirations.
When I was young, my father told me that you never ever want to be the focus of a prosecutor, particularly aFederal prosecutor who is judged by his or her successes and promoted for same. Like the Terminator, they do not stop until they achieve their objective of destroying the target. This idiot has punched a wasps nest. Hes about to be stung, as is his criminal crew of a family.

(33,164 posts)The only thing I have to add to your father's sage advice is to never be the focus of a prosecutor or court facing unusual charges. Such as, Sedition and Insurrection, because, it gives them the opportunity to make precedent with you as the example. They dream of appearing in the Law Books for years to come. They live for it, in fact.

(33,349 posts)As a kid, I once accidently put my hand in the middle of a wasp's nest that was bigger than my hand. That hand was shortly a catcher's mitt. I think it started swelling even before I stopped running.
