He is now the official lightning rod for every prosecutor who has higher aspirations.

When I was young, my father told me that you never ever want to be the focus of a prosecutor, particularly aFederal prosecutor who is judged by his or her successes and promoted for same. Like the Terminator, they do not stop until they achieve their objective of destroying the target. This idiot has punched a wasp’s nest. He’s about to be stung, as is his criminal crew of a family.

The only thing I have to add to your father's sage advice is to never be the focus of a prosecutor or court facing unusual charges. As a kid, I once accidently put my hand in the middle of a wasp's nest that was bigger than my hand. That hand was shortly a catcher's mitt. I think it started swelling even before I stopped running.
