When Trump's approval dropped down to 29%, how much of that drop...

...wasn't people disgusted with Trump for fomenting insurrection, but instead sick MAGAts who were disappointed with Trump for not trying harder to take over the country?

but yesterday I read that some county in FL has had over 2000 Republicans change their party affiliation, most to unaffiliated, some to Independent & a few to Democratic.

That's a general problem with approval polls that I call "the Goldilocks Syndrome". There are those who find the porridge too hot and those who find it too cold, but only a minority find it just right.

voted for the leader of this ongoing insurrection. I would suspect quite a few deluded individuals are waking, driving, cooking, internetting about your question at this very moment. We are going to be dealing with these insurrectionists for a long time.
