Cruz/Hawley etc objections added a crucial time element to the Capitol riot
When no senator objected to any Electoral College votes in 2017, the Joint Session presided over by Biden finished certifying Trump's win at *1:41 pm*
The mob broke in to the Capitol at ~2:10 pm

legal case against them both. Seditious conspiracy or ?

(49,002 posts)2. Plus the rally/march timeline obfuscation by the Reich Wing is bogus
Their deceptively simplistic timeline says that tRump finished speaking about 1:15 pm and that the marchers had began walking before 1:00 pm; both facts are true.
Their conclusion that there is "no way" tRump could have incited the rioters is bogus because it conveniently ignores many important facts.
1) The warmup speakers the day before and the morning before were all combative, aggressive, and inciting. Like Ghouliani urging "trial by combat" (since all his cases had failed in court).
2) tRump began speaking about 12 noon. Early in his speech he was inciting the crowd as well as at the end.
3) When tRump stopped speaking, the number of marchers swelled.
Propaganda masters in the WH and St Petersburg Russia would like everyone to be stupid enough and flabbergasted enough to act as if the marchers went to the Capitol in one large mass before tRump finished and nobody joined them after. Nope.
4) The breaching of barricades didn't happen instantly. It happened after tRump finished speaking and people got alerts and messages and streams on their smart phones telling them he had finished and the Congressional session had begun.
5) At no point did tRump tweet or message or speak or release a statement calling on the rioters to stop and withdraw.
