These and more details gleaned from court documents reveal how the FBI has quickly identified more than 275 suspects -- the number is expected to grow quickly -- related to last week’s Capitol riot. More than 98 have been arrested, often with the aid of video taken or social media posted by the participants themselves. And investigators, academics and citizen sleuths are still combing though broadcast footage and websites such as Twitter Inc., YouTube and even archives of the now-defunct Parler platform favored by right-wing activists.

More than 140,000 pieces of digital media have been obtained by the FBI. “And we are scouring every one for investigative and intelligence leads,” Steven D’Antuono, assistant director in charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, told reporters. “We continue to ask for more.”

The FBI has opened a portal to accept tips and digital media depicting rioting and violence in and around the Capitol on Jan. 6, when a mob supporting President Donald Trump swarmed the building, scaling walls, breaking windows and beating police officers. I do believe that if I would have been in that crowd, I would have worn a mask and I damn sure
would not have taken pictures of myself, and if I was stupid enough to have taken a picture of
myself there, I damn sure would not have posted it on social media.

Their cellphones were all pinging off the cell tower that is located inside the US Capitol building. How many of those rioters were carrying and using their phones? Probably 95%.

It's because of those phones that the FBI was able to quickly put them on no-fly lists in less than 12 hours after the insurrection last week. Many were stranded at the airports the next day, and couldn't get on their flight. Of course not all of them flew, a lot came by bus or in cars. But the point is the FBI already knew who was there even while the thing was still happening. The ones who posted on Facebook and Twitter just made it easier to identify them in photos. Isn't technology wonderful?

The right wing really should take a deep, long look at how easy it is to become radicalized, and in a relatively short time frame for some of them. Proof for the FBI to find, arrest, try, convict, and send to jail the rioters....Enough pictures and video
to get all the rioters and in the end those that backed the rioters and were responsible for the entire riot.

Now....here is how it works...the FBI captures and arrests the lower level rioters...
.........Then, the FBI offers deals to those lower levels to testify against the next level up..whoever they are.
......... Then the next level testifies against the next higher level and so on till we get to the Congressmen
