I am so angry about this vaccine shortage that I can't see straight.

So the federal vaccine reserves are gone, according to several news reports.

This is sickening. This affects every single person in America. It may cost many lives.

It was horrible enough that they fucked with supplies personal protective for medical workers last year.

How many doctors, nurses, medical technicians died because they were reduced to wearing plastic garbage bags as they worked on the front lines to save lives?

I recall reading stories that federal agents of some kind confiscated shipments of PPE from some states and hospitals. Where did that equipment go? Was it sold to Russia? Saudi Arabia? Who profited from these illegal seizures of property?

And now we learn that our federal government's vaccine reserves, which were promised to the states, are gone.

Where did they go? Were they sold to the highest bidder in some other country? Is some of it being used privately to vaccinate Trump's loyalists and rich supporters? Who is profiting from these "missing vaccines?"

Are more Americans going to die unnecessarily because they can't get vaccinated? Are people going to be deprived of the second injections needed to ensure the vaccine works as it should?

We need a major investigation into this unbelievable disaster.

Any person who is involved in this or the seizures of PPE should be arrested, charged and tried. If convicted, life in prison. And that includes all members of the Trump crime family who may be involved.

production stabilized. They were to ensure a second dose if there were glitches in production. When production smoothed out and ramped up the reserves were released.

The reserve was ALWAYS much smaller than claimed and was distributed.
There is no shortage, by the definition of the word.
Pfizer & Moderna are right at their production forecast.
Do we need more given the pandemic? Of course.
Is it less than what actual forecasts suggested? No.
There is no vaccine missing.
Many just got sucked into lies from the maladministration and believed there would be more now than there was ever going to be.

I've read some other states did as well, mainly due to too restrictive guidelines as to who can get them, a large number of those eligible refusing to get them, and a disarray on scheduling those eligible and wanting it. My cousin is eligible in Michigan as she is a teacher. No one in her school has been able to get through to schedule for the past week. Phones are going unanswered or get disconnected. And being teachers, they can't just sit on the phone all day hoping they get through.

At this rate 2021 won't even be any better than 2020, when the hell do we ever get normal back? We need to put THE MILITARY in charge of the vaccination effort, I bet they would actually get stuff done.
