Pro-Trump Protests Fizzle Out At Capitol Buildings Across The U.S.

Small groups of right-wing protesters — some of them carrying rifles — gathered outside heavily fortified statehouses around the country Sunday, outnumbered by National Guard troops and police brought in to prevent a repeat of the violence that erupted at the U.S. Capitol.

As darkness began to fall, there were no reports of any clashes.

Security was stepped up in recent days after the FBI warned of the potential for armed protests in Washington and at all 50 state capitol buildings ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday.

1. Pictures of people being arrested will cool the heels of his supporters.

I think we will be happily surprised at the lack of demonstrators on inaugural day.

And DC is a military base.
A lot of these violent insurrectionists will be having second thoughts about confronting trained people who will shoot back.
Easy to strut around with an AR-15 to intimidate people, 99.9% of whom are unarmed.
Intimidating a person with a loaded M-4 or M-16 & the training to use it? That substantially unbalances the equation.

They are aiming for the central government and are a looming danger on 1/20 in DC. I'm so worried, the same asses that let the seditionists in and aided and abetted them are still mostly there and still aiming to take out Biden/Harris & Pelosi. FBI told the National Guard that and now they are supposed to be investigating every person there - but who is doing the investigating and are they clean of this infestation? My husband was telling me this is crazy, but now the FBI and National Guard have acknowledged it as real.

5. Overreaction, DC police and FBI and national LE have egg on their faces from failure last week

They have spread the fear porn to hide their shame and deflect their complete failure of crowd control away from them into a "national emergency".

Then, they turn around and look at what they've done and said "OMG, WE JUST GAVE 20,000 WHITE PEOPLE WITH GUNS ACCESS TO SURROUND THE CAPITOL"

Better vet them quick! "Who did you vote for?"
