There has to be a law where no person who has been convicted can run for office, it doesn't make sense to have people who have been imprisoned (Mat Gaetz is one of them) should run for office. I do believe in 2nd chances, but not in official positions.

But the simple fact is if you cut off a person’s eligibility for office solely on the basis of a felony conviction, you open the door wide to trumped-up (pun intended) political arrests and convictions of Liberals, Progressives, and anti-fascists.

I also hope that what these people saw was not a tweet with a picture claiming it was her giving a tour when in reality the photo
is from a gun rally in December at the Colorado capitol steps.

At any rate, I have been on tours of the Capitol and from my recollection, we had to show ID, register and surrender items like our butane lighters etc... at some points and show security our empty pockets as well as walk through metal detectors etc...

So it would seem one way or another there would be evidence of this that can prove or disprove this story

Given that the only video that has surfaced has been what individuals have taken, I'm beginning to think there are no cameras and no video anywhere in the Capitol building. Which is absurd.
