Pardonpalooza Tuesday 1/19

starts today. I'm sure there will be a lot of disgraceful pardons. Already mentioned is Sheldon Silver (which only makes sense in that Preet Bahara convicted him). Not shocking that Trump would like to pardon corrupt politicians, though. As he's a corrupt politician.

Lil Wayne. Honestly, I don't know what he was arrested for. But this will be more of Trump insisting he's bee the best president for black america since Lincoln.

Who else will be up there?

This one would be stunning: Ulbricht created and operated the dark-web marketplace Silk Road, which was the world's largest middleman for criminal transactions. If you wanted 500 pounds of meth, 100 credit-card skimmers or a box of machineguns, Silk Road was the place to go. As antidrug as Trump is, it would shock to the core to see Trump pardoning a guy who was chin-deep in the drug trade...but the Stunt Pardon President loves that kind of thing.

It's not the number, it's who.

Every president has pardoned an excessive amount of people at the end of their presidency.

Yes, Trump is a vile piece of ****. He will most likely pardon equally vile pieces of ****.

But it is who, not how many.

Betcha he doesn’t pardon that gal who accidentally voted not realizing she couldn’t. I think she got five years for that.

But pardons Mike Flynn and Roger Stone, et al.
