PA woman accused of laptop theft from Pelosi's office during Capitol riot arrested

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania -- A woman accused of storming the US Capitol and stealing a laptop or hard drive from the office of Speaker Pelosi with the intention of selling it to Russia's intel service has been taken into custody, according to the Justice Department.

Riley June Williams was taken into custody in the Middle District of Pennsylvania on Monday.

I hope her life is over. I hope she rots in a cell with 'Big Miilie'. She's a goddamn foreign agent.

Was it copied? Downloaded and stored? Was she able to log in?

Likely with her cellphone and with location permitted to all apps!
Like finding a submarine with sonar while Metallica is playing on board.

Her own dad said she was fleeing & in hiding.
I guess dad was wrong.
Since he was there too, I shouldn't have believed a word he said.

It's not an uncommon response to having your picture on an FBI wanted poster.

She could have kept her seditious butt home.
And, even if in her blithering stupidity, she went to DC to see the head idiot, not going into the Capitol building would have been pretty simple.
I'm not buying any defense of her actions during or after January 6.
If she had a functioning brain, there'd be no reaction to her face on on a wanted poster. Because there'd be no poster of her.
You're pursuing a distinction and I'm not accepting that there's a difference.
She committed crimes, she ran, she hid. Those facts are not in dispute. There's video of the first.
Whether she turned herself in is irrelevant.

She was not, however, as your post implies, found because of her cellphone, She turned herself in. It's weird that you're making a thing out of it.

sell it to her Russian friend for the purpose of depositing it with Russian intelligence.

The FBI noted that an ex of Ms. Williams had told Witness 1 this story, but it sounds dubious, at least.

People need to calm down a bit.
