4. How many ways can one say no?

No membership for any members of the RW media, or to be more specific, any media organizations that promulgated and perpetuated the election denial story and that publishes lies. As the saying goes, you're entitled to your own opinion; you're not entitled to your own facts. Media organizations that create their own facts do not deserve a place in the WHCA or in the WH press room. Not censorship. They can still publish what they like. They just don't get a place in the WH press corps.

7. I see no reason to grant legitimacy to so-called "news" agencies like NewsMax, OAN, etc..

Treat them as if they're factual news then don't complain about the bullshit they spout.

If opinions aren't the same as facts, then stop pretending otherwise.

If NewsMax and OAN are part of the problem of disinformation (and they are), then don't lend validity to them by granting them access.


They have a platform, so it's not some free speech issue. It's certainly not about allowing for dissenting opinions, since actual legitimate news agencies deal in facts and fact-informed opinions and the others deal in satanic-lizard-people pedophile rings under pizza parlors, storm the Capitol, we was robbed, Trump is our god delusional fantasies of brilliance.
