Today is President Biden and Vice President Harris' day.

I will not speak any more of the former office occupant today.

His time and judgment will inevitably come at some point in the future, at which time there will be plenty to discuss.

But today let us rejoice and be glad.

... to each of us playing a part in ending “this uncivil war.”

I see so many posts here, still in this moment, focused with anger and hubris at all the old names, rather than savoring this message of today and looking to the future, and helping to build that future. It saddens me. It seems that for many, nothing was really heard, and the call to change has gone unheeded.

Just for one day, can we turn away from the ugly past?
