The count can't close yet.

This should be like baseball. If you are a pitcher and you leave people on base, you are to blame for them scoring even if it happens after you leave the game.

Trump is still responsible for all of those people who are already sick and may die over the next few weeks.

For that matter, he is responsible for how wide spread the virus is so he is really possible for much of the continued transmission and death going forward into the foreseeable future

Trump will be responsible, at the end if the day, for between 2/3rds and 3/4ers of a million excess deaths. 100% responsible. It is crimes against humanity level shitbaggery.
